Methodology and platform

The calculation and neutralization of the greenhouse gasses emissions is realized with a simple click. The web platform of the Eco4Cargo project allows to quantify exactly the carbon footprint of every single shipment by tracking the route of your packages and thus calculating the carbon footprint of your shipment.

The Eco4Cargo Project platform, in fact, considers: 

• Departure and delivery point of the package
• Mass of the package
• Transportation mean used
• Distance covered

that are virtualized by the platform that calculates the real distance covered by the package and offers the exact carbon footprint of the shipment. The carbon footprint is then ready to be compensated.
